Support for
MotePilot.

MotePilot is an iPhone TV remote by PIT SOLUTIONS LLC. The app connects to compatible TVs and streaming devices on your local network. The website demo is a simulation and does not connect to a TV.

Getting connected

  1. Connect your iPhone and TV to the same local network. Guest networks may prevent devices from finding each other.
  2. Allow local-network access when MotePilot requests it.
  3. Try device discovery. If your TV is not listed, add it using its hostname or IP address.
  4. If pairing is required, start it in the app, then approve the request or enter the code shown on your TV.

TV compatibility

The app includes connections for Sony BRAVIA, Roku, LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, and Android TV / Google TV. This is not a verified model list. Compatibility depends on the model, firmware, network settings, and the TV apps you use.

Navigation, volume, playback, channels, app launching, keyboard input, and wake controls are available only where the selected device supports them. Keyboard input also depends on the active TV input field. TV assistant input requires a compatible, paired Google TV remote connection; it is not available on every TV.

If a TV does not respond

Check that the TV is awake, both devices are on the same network, and local-network permission is enabled. Confirm any TV setting that allows mobile remote control. Wake behavior varies by TV and may require an enabled wake setting and a saved network hardware address.
